What is CoolSculpting?

We get this question all the time and we love to answer it! The unique CoolSculpting® fat-freezing technology is a nonsurgical scientifically proven way to reduce pockets of fat in trouble spots! FDA-cleared to treat areas such as the abdomen, flanks, arms, legs, and under the chin in as little as 35 minutes!

How CoolSculpting Works

CoolSculpting uses a scientific process known as cryolipolysis. This non-invasive technique targets and freezes fat cells, causing them to crystallize and be eliminated from your body. This body contouring treatment selectively reduces fat layers without damaging surrounding tissues, providing effective and lasting results.

To Our Valued Patients,

Many of you may have heard or read about recent news events regarding a rare side effect called paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH), which may be causing some concern about the safety of CoolSculpting treatment. Although it is an extremely safe and completely non-invasive procedure, CoolSculpting has its own side effects as any other medical intervention. Most of them are temporary, however, paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH) is a permanent enlargement of tissue in the treatment area which requires a surgical intervention for correction. CoolSculpting has been performed over a decade and there have been over 11 million treatments performed worldwide. The occurrence of PAH has been reported as 0.033%. At Redlands Body Sculpting, this rare, but possible complication is always explained to patients before the procedure.

The safety of our patients is our number one priority, and we want to ensure that the treatment you receive at Redlands Body Sculpting is delivered by experienced staff who are passionate about your care and satisfaction. Please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns or questions about your upcoming or past treatment.

Thank you,
