If you have been chasing fine lines and wrinkles, are on a hunt for a true solution for acne or surgical scars, or simply looking to improve your skin’s texture, tone, and color, the pursuit stops here!
Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars.
It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and neck—the areas that often reveal the most tell-tale signs of aging and sun damage.
Treats fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin.
Step 1: Small amount of patient's blood is collected
Step 2: Separate PRP by centrifugation. This process takes about 10 minutes
Step 3: PRP is topically applied during microneedling. This will enhance collagen and elastin production by the growth factor concentrated in PRP
Your blood is made up of four main components: red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. Platelet Rich Plasma is a platelet concentrated
component from your own blood that contains nutrient rich cells and protein growth factors.
Platelet Rich Plasma is produced when a small amount of blood is drawn and placed into a sterile, disposable container and then, spun to separate the platelets from your blood sample, resulting in a platelet-rich plasma.
Platelet Rich Plasma is safe because it comes from your own blood, therefore there is minimal risk for allergic or immune reaction. Platelet Rich Plasma preparation must be conducted by a trained medical professional. Consult your physician for more information.
We recommend that patients receive a series of three treatments space six to eight weeks apart for best results. For patients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals
Many patients report that the feeling of the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO on their skin is like that of sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas of the skin are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip makes the treatment more comfortable. We also apply topical numbing medication prior to the procedure for patients' comfort. Because most micro-needling sessions only take about 15 to 30 minutes, any discomfort is temporary and is felt only during the procedure itself.
The total healing time depends on the pen position used and the number of overlapping passes. On average, patients experience redness for two to four days. Some patients heal completely within 24 hours. Most patients report noticing a redness to the skin following the procedure.
